If you are a person with a formal position in ANSWD,an ANSWD member, AATUG member or a member of the Student Officers email list, and are interested in the discussions in amending the policy and the charter, the determining how ANSWD is to be managed, willing to do more than just a passive member of ANSWD or interested in writing and proofreading letters to politicians, inquiries, student organisations, tertiary educational institutions and other organisations in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand about issues relating to tertiary students with disabilities in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, contact Timothy Hart to join the Managing Committee email list by emailing thart@med.usyd.edu.au
Note: All persons on the Student Officers will be automatically be subscribed to this email list.
Please respect the views of the members, be mindful of who you are writing the letter to and letters to politicians should relate to issues affecting students with disabilities on a National level.
Official ANSWD letters require the Convenor's signature.
Alternative Student Representatives
Students with disabilities representative external to a student organisation, you are welcome to join the managing committee email list. Please email Timothy Hart with name, email address, name of tertiary education, name and website of that organisation that you serve on.Interest group Liaisons
Students with disabilities who are members or office bearers of not-for-profit organisations which are not student organisations. Send an email to Timothy to join.Approaching other disability advocacy organisations in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand
- Join their organisation and email list;
- Introduce yourself and ANSWD to them;
- Forward information to ANSWD if it affects tertiary students with disabilities or if they are asking for us to participate.

If there is an organisation that falls outside the above list that you think should have students with disabilities representation let us know either by convenor@answd.org or answd-list@postoffice.utas.edu.au
